In the modern media space, the headlines of news materials serve not only as a means of attracting the attention of the audience, but also as a powerful tool for shaping socio-political discourse, which includes «expressivity as a constitutional, stylistic means.» The analysis of phraseological units with a component «goz» in the headlines of the Turkish media makes it possible to identify patterns of the influence of linguistic constructions on the interpretation of events, emphasizing the cultural and social aspects of the Turkish socio-political media discourse.
