Abstract

The article deals with the issue of communicative space in the field of rental housing in Japan. Renting a home is generally a fairly complex process. Japan is no exception, as there are certain features both within the stages of concluding a lease agreement and within the lexical base. In Japan, in the vast majority of cases, housing is rented not from a private person, as is customary in Russia, but from real estate companies. The client addresses them to the office, voices his wishes, in the office they select options suitable for the client, then the day and time of viewing are selected. This is only the beginning of the procedure, as further the client will have to wait for other stages that are specific to the Japanese rental market. There is a need for an in-depth study of not only the vocabulary of terminological vocabulary, but also a phased consideration of the rental process. The work uses word-formation and contextual analysis, analysis of specific examples of word usage. The article presents the stages of the process of concluding a lease agreement, defines the main terms associated with this process, and defines the features of the approach to housing rental in Japan. The materials can be used in further research of this topic.
