Abstract

The article analyzes some scientific papers of Nikolai A. Samoilov, an outstanding professor at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of St. Petersburg State University, about the history of the formation and development of Russian-Chinese relations in the 17th and 18th centuries in order to analyze the cultural significance of bilateral contacts.
