Abstract
Based on the historical retrospective, the article examines the development and formation of China’s “One Belt. One Way" Initiative. The regional Silk Road strategy, put forward by Xi Jinping in 2013, has evolved into a global project and affected every continent on the globe. The author examines the features of the “One Belt, One Road” concept in the new era and the possibilities of Russia’s interaction with the Chinese initiative.
